Recording student assessments
Request to record student assessments
A number of courses have used the lecture capture system to record students presentations or vivas. These recordings have focused on formative and summative assignments and can replace the use of loaned DVD cameras from the resource centers. The ease with which the recordings can be made and subsequently shared with external examiners, as well as the students themselves, has proved extremely popular.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The lecture capture system is primarily used to support learning and teaching and not just student assignments, it can not be used for this purpose alone. However if academics are already using it to record supporting materials and classroom sessions as part of thier normal teaching practice, they can also request it be used to record student vivas.
