BiographyMandy is an experienced course leader at Solent University, leading within the field of nursing and healthcare who has moved to the course lead role for academic practice to support further development of teaching and learning across the university. With a varied career in nursing and education she brings a wide range of experience to this lead academic role and prior to joining Solent, in a senior role in leadership and professional development within health services, demonstrated success in supporting the development and advancement of others.Research interestsParticular areas of research interest include professional identity, especially during role transition and organisation change; widening participation and attainment in higher education; hybrid models of teaching and use of simulation in nurse education; inclusive teaching and co-creation with students.
