Workshop 5: Effective Student Representation
- Workshop outline
This workshop creates the space for exploring barriers to and enablers of effective student representation. It borrows two tools: the participation ladder and the SLE grid to focus thinking and critical reflection and aims to examine how it is that students are represented – formally and informally – so as to shape their learning experience.

- To critically review current practices with a view to enhancing the process of student representation
- To discuss outcomes of formal and informal student representation
- To share good practice of engaging students in student representation
