Solent real-world curriculum framework
All undergraduate courses at Solent are being aligned to Solent's real-world curriculum framework. The framework was established in 2018-19 through consultation with staff and students. It outlines 6 dimension which students and staff feel should be at the heart of their curriculum. Its implementation creates meaningful progression between modules and reduce the burden of summative assignments, freeing up space for more creative and inspiring formative teaching and learning. At the core of the framework is the personal learning journey students undertake. The curriculum is viewed as a whole, guiding students on their journey to personal knowing. As you design modules, think carefully about how the module aligns to the framework.
