1. Starting assignments
The assignment brief and marking criteria provide guidance to give you confidence that you will produce an effective and relevant piece of work.
Why is it important?
If you don't understand what is expected from the assignment brief or the marking criteria, you won't be able to produce the result that your tutor is expecting and hoping for.
How do I do it?
Read the brief carefully, noting any key words, and review feedback from your previous work to guide you. Check the marking criteria and if possible compare this to examples of similar work. Review the brief regularly, and if you have any doubts about what is involved, clarify with your tutor as soon as possible.
